Annual Changes to the NASDAQ OMX Global Automobile Index

NEW YORK, June 11, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced today the results of the annual evaluation of the NASDAQ OMX Global Automobile IndexSM (Nasdaq:QAUTO), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, June 18, 2012.

The following security will be added to the Index: Byd Co Ltd. (1211 HK).

The Index is designed to track the performance of the largest and most liquid companies engaged in manufacturing of automobiles. The NASDAQ OMX Global Automobile Index is evaluated annually in June. The NASDAQ OMX Global Automotive Index is the basis for the First Trust NASDAQ Global Auto Index Fund (Nasdaq:CARZ), which seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield of the NASDAQ Automotive Index before fees and expenses.

As a result of the evaluation, the following two securities will be removed from the Index: Yulon Nissan Motor Co Ltd. (2227 TT) and Volkswagen AG (VOW GY).
